If you need to open a ProStructures file created with MicroStation platform with ProStructures running on the AutoCAD platform, you need to convert the file. Is there a way to keep the cell libraries from loading when opening Microstation? We have some very large 3d cell libraries attached to drawings that slow them down when opening. We have put the cell libraries on our server instead of on the local system. Is there a way to keep the cell libraries from attaching when going into a drawing? One problem that seems to plague everyone whether you are using ProjectWise or not is performance. Performance can make your system go from running smoothly to your users complaining that the system is unusable. Does anyone know if it is possible to add a non standard file extension to the 'Save As' file type selector. MicroStation happily accepts different extensions e.g. .RCD, .ACH, .LAY... but when trying to save with one of these preffered types .DGN is added e.g. MYFILE.ACH.DGN I've not been able to locate any discussions on this, it would be good to solve if there is a solution.
