Can anyone recommend software to add simple annotations to an image file? I find myself making a lot of these types of images:
I would like more professional looking results, of course. Ideal tools would include: ability to add a leader note with an arrowhead, ability to highlight a region using a rectangle (ellipse would be nice, too), and ability to add text. Different colors would be swell.
I have Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but those are too cumbersome for this - I need something that's lightweight and tailored for annotation.
Thanks.
Hi, im not sure you still need help or not, as i saw this, i give my suggestion, in fact, you can try this professional image annotation app in c# .net, it can create different annotation types to an image, it works well in my image work, hope this can help you.
Hm, while this thread is quite old, I don't think (after visiting the suggested site) that a sdk will help him , if he wants an application.
Beside this I would suggest something like SnagIt, which has extended screen-capturing methods and many post-editing capabilties. I know lots of people using this for documentation/support.
I have checked that.it works but the facilities are not complete enough .Once I used Adobe Acrobat. but it becomes more and more expensive for public users who haven;t got many images to process. here I would like to share with you the tool Im using now ,it is denefinitly easier to handle than Adobe Pro.This image annotator will enable you to mark up, highlight and underline image content by adding and drawing annotation with just a few clicks. If you donnot have a good choice. You can download the free trail package and have a try.
Hmm, can you be sepcific which kind of image format file you want to add annotation? Jpeg, png, gif, bmp or tiff? Here is an image annotator that can be used to add and draw annotation in any shape, such as text, callout, ellipse, rubber stamp on raster image file. As tiff document is a multiple-page file, I believe there are some professional annotating tool that suites for TIFF document.
What';s the ap you're recommending jacaboo?
