All of my survey points' text have started to display with breaks throughout the letters. I can't really explain it so I've attached a picture. Once I write the points to the screen, they display fine. It has made it terribly hard to sort through everything.
I'm new to Microstation and am using an old version - Microstation 08.09.04.51 InRoads 08.09.02.16
This reminds me of text displayed with a line style which we used to do many many versions ago. Check in the Workspace Preferences Text for a setting to turn off the display of line styles in text. Since we no longer display line styles in text, the setting won't be found in current versions.
Thanks for the quick reply. However, I'm not seeing that option. I searched through all of the tabs in the Workspace->Preferences including Workspace->Preference->Text as you had mentioned.I do agree, though; it does look like a 'hidden' linetype style is being applied to the text.
I don't recall when that setting was removed - probably long before the version you're using. Can you post or email me the offending file?
Here is the dgn and fwd. No problem with the text once it is written to the graphics. Just when viewing beforehand.
I'm not seeing this display issue with the current release which is 08.11.09.493.
