To compress an entire folder of design files, just select Directory > Compress from the MicroStation Manager. If your version of MicroStation shows the WinOpen dialog, and not the MicroStation Manager, simply press SHIFT + ESC.
And, yes, the MicroStation Manager is still available...even in MicroStation V8i SS2!
