Sample PDS model published to PDF with data
Here is an example of taking a PDS model through PDx Manager and then publshing an Acrobat PDF file using Interplot. This PDF file contains both the drawing as well as all the property data from the PDS model as well as the hierarchy breakdown structure of the objects. Note: You will required to download Acrobat 9 reader to use the Object Data Tool to see the details (Tools-> Analysis -> Object Data Tool from the Acrobat menu) As a side benefit you can also export the data content to XML from within Acrobat as well A sample is shown below: - -

    Hi Ken, Sorry not being familiar with PDx Manager you used data, I take it from a PDS DRV session to create the PDF.

    The products that would be required to perform this would be - MicroStation V8i - PDx Manager - InterPlot Organizer (licensed via ProjectWise Passport) PDx Manager is used to expose the PDS Data into the V8i file. Then using InterPlot Organizer, makign sure the Publish Properties selection is checked off, the data will be transfered into the PDF

    Hi, I have the application installed as listed, but am still only getting the 3D PDF with levels etc. No PDS data? Could you please elaborate on how to get from Intrplot organiser and PDxManager the data into the 3D PDF. Thanks
