In this step you provide the prospective employer information about yourself they will use to match you up with an employment opportunity.
To provide this information, click on the "Job Interests (Academic Student Only)" tab in your Profile.
This features on this page are initially not available until you acknowledge that you are, indeed, a student by clicking the selection box next to the "I hereby certify that I am currently a student enrolled in a degree or certificate-granting program at an accredited learning Institution" text.
NOTE: This job service is available ONLY to students and not to practicing professionals.
Once you have indentified yourself as a student, the main part of the page becomes active.
The following is a description of each section of the Job Interests page.
Region of Interest
This is the section of the page where you identify the geographic regions where you are interested in working. This does not have to be only where you currently live but where you would take employment. You can click as many as desirable.
Profession of Interest
This is the main list of job titles from which you select one or more you are interested in pursuing.
Industry Segment
In this section, you identify the industry in which you want to work. Again, select those that interest you the most.
Product Experience
In this section you identify your level of experience with the main Bentley products. Select the values that most closely matches your time spent within each collection of Bentley products.
Full time versus Internship
If you are still in school but wish to apply for an internship in a design or engineering company or department you identify this by selecting the "I am intersted in an internship position".
If you are only interested in full time employment, click the "I am interested in Full Time" option.
Once you have selected all of the options on this page and have verified them as correct, click the Save Changes button. This will save your changes to your profile which makes them available to potential employers as they search for qualified graduates and undergraduates.
