To participate in the resume search service you must first join the Be Communities, the premiere network of people, resources and news about Bentley products, services and user activities. One part of Be Communities is the Be Careers Network's Resume Center, a tool for placing qualified student resumes into the hands of prospective employers. Integrated directly into the BE Communities, your "profile" becomes your defacto resume. The first step you must perform to take advantage of the Resume Center is to become a member of the BE Communities. Here's how:

1. Goto http://communities.bentley.com/

2. Click the Join link or Join Now button.

 

You can click on the link or button to join the BE Communities.

The Join the BE Community! form appears:


 

Note the grayed out "Join" button. You cannot join until all of the information
on this form has been filled out and you have read to and agreed with the
Site Terms of Use document.

3. Enter your username.

We recommend using your real name for resume search purposes.

4. Enter your email address.

Preferably your school provided email address.  Your email address is not shared with anyone as you will be contacted only through the private message facility within the BE Communities environment.

5. Re-enter your email address.

6. Set your location Timezone.

7. Read the Site Terms of Use Document.

8. Click the "I agree to the Terms of Use" option.

The "Join" button activates.

9. Click the Join button to join the BE Communities.

At this point, your account is created by the system.  Within fifteen minutes, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a system-generated password.  You may change this password to one that you will remember for future use.
