Subdivision of AutoPlant|Plantwise Forum into their resective spaces

Hi,

I would like to make a suggestion of splitting the AutoPlant|OpenPlant|Plantwise forum into their respective application family. At the moment, I'm trying to learn OpenPlant, and most of the time, I have to sift through each post contents to know if it's pertaining to AutoPlant or OpenPlant, or something else entirely. And it's quite a tedious process.

Best regards,

Tuan Le

  • Hello Tuan,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Most of our product communities are arranged by product line, which may encompass more than one brand (such as the case here). However, there are some that are arrange by Brand as well. I will send your request to a few of my colleagues for consideration. One problem is that it may be quite challenging to split off all existing content into new communities if we were to split them off.

In the meantime, I see that the Wiki area of this community is divided into categories for each product. Wiki content tends to be more appropriately formatted and organized for learning. You could also consider our formal training offering at learn.bentley.com.

Well, exactly my point Jesse. AutoPlant and OpenPlant are just growing from now so I would have thought the sooner the split the less work got to be done.
