There are any number of ways I can think of. One way I would suggest is to contact the member through the site's email functionality (to make initial contact, since private email addresses are not published to minimize the spam potential), and after they reply, figure out how to best provide the file... either as an existing file uploaded to this site, provided via ftp or some other temporary file sharing methodology, via subsequent email, etc.

OK, fair enough. In that case how do I get a file to another BE member?

You can insert an image or video in a conversation or email to another Be Communities member, but attaching a file is not supported through the system at this time (for those two specific functions). This has been identified as something for future consideration.

I posted this to the Everything Else forum a few hours ago and got no response so I'm trrying here.

As the subject says how do I attach a file to an internal e-mail that I'm sending to another BE Communities member?
