Jide has a Bachelors degree in Architecture and a Masters in Advanced Computing and Design. He has been a Microstation user since Version 4 when he started practicing architecture 18 years ago in the UK. He has placed special emphasis on Computer applications and specifically over the last 3 years with Bentley Architecture and Building information Modelling processes.
As BIM is exploding into life he has taken up the challenge of absorbing the concepts and applying them to projects he has been working on, and at the same time mastering the related software applications. He is versatile and creative and also has an excellent grasp of the fundamentals of design and building construction detailing and how these are best deployed to achieve the ends.
He has been considerably privileged to have worked on several landmark projects and schemes of various sizes and has lots of experience of multi-disciplinary work places,.
He has recently worked in the position of lead coordinator and designer and taken on the challenge of coordinating and developing the CAD resources, standards and processes to focus more on interdisciplinary coordination using Bentley Architecture completing a number of schemes of various sizes in the UK, managing all aspects from inception to completion on site.
He is currently BIM coordinator for David Morley Architects
