I have a BEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering from Queens University of Belfast, a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Limerick Institute of Technology and a National Certificate in Civil Engineering from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. I have recently achieved Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland.
Before joining Bentley I worked as a highway design engineer for over 8 years and was responsible for the design of large highway schemes in Ireland and the UK. I’m an NRA approved Road Safety Audit Team Leader and have carried out safety auditing of road schemes in Ireland. In addition I have been trained as a Mobility Auditor using the Irish National Disability Authority guidelines and have audited towns in Ireland in relation to access for the mobility impaired.
My interests include hiking, running and cycling. In 2008 I participated in a trek to Everest Base Camp to raise money for an Irish based Nepalese Charity and in 2009 I participated in the Galway Bay Half Marathon to raise money for a local charity.
