Lynn Strunk's Profile

Lynn thought that majoring in Broadcast Engineering and minoring in Geology would get him his dream job. However, his first real job after college was working as an engineer developing, testing and installing computer controlled electron beam (EB) and laser beam (LB) welding machines. This eventually got him to the Marshall Space Flight Center (NASA) in Huntsville, Alabama to define and certify the EB parameters for the main engine of the space shuttle in 1977. In 1979, he moved on to M&S Computing which became Intergraph Corporation in 1981. Here he worked with computer peripherals, disk drives, tape drives, monitors, tracking devices and wide format printers/plotters. After 21 years with Intergraph, Bentley Systems, Inc. acquired the resources of the InterPlot group and in 2006, Lynn earned his MSEE from the University of Tennessee in Engineering Management.
