I graduated HS and Trade technical school in 1983 and began persuing my first love; building custom homes. Eventually, my building experiences led to working on commercial sites. I returned to school in the late 90s and obtain my teaching certificate for vocational education from Temple University. For several years I tought a technical program sponsored by Berks County Homebuilders Association. In 2000, I began working for a Municipal (Civil) Consultant and returned to school and a graduate studies program in GIS through Penn State. GIS can be some seriously cool stuff. My position with the Consultant firm allowed me to apply and sharpen the skills I learned at Penn State. During this part of my career, I was also able to work with site design in the form of sanitary sewer projects and commercial subdivisions.
In Jan 2006, I started with Bentley Systems as a Technical Specialist, assisting sales from a technical side. In March of 2006 I was asked to work with our Civil Products inc. PowerCivil. I currently work for our professional services focusing on GEOPAK Site and PowerCivil.
