MX V8i. What's a Survey Display or Style Set going to produce.

Hi All, We get asked about how a Style Set is going to look, or how to specify a survey and how to get it to look how you want it to. The start of this is really your Survey Style Set. This dicatates string naming and the colours and styles that its going to produce. Sometimes we get asked this question from the other direction. I've been sent a style set, but I've no idea what its going to produce. To resolve all these problems with how a...

MX Annotating Cross Sections with Services.

Hi All, Every so often, we get asked about annotating Cross Sections with Services. Its not the easiest thing to do, but with some thought on string and model naming and masking, and an input file, some decent results can be obtained. You can also use it for annotating Drainage runs on cross sections too. The example below is a simple example, where all the services are in the same model, but have different string names for different service types...

MX V8i SELECT Series 2 Advanced Notification

Hi all, Somthing that came out at the User Group Meetings, was the lack of notcie we gave on forthcoming software releases. You all understood that it was dificult for us to give a specific date for a release, due to many factors affecting the release, but wanted at least a rough time scale some time in advance. This was so you could plan installs and upgrades, and not find out a few days after upgrading, that we had released an update. So here's...
