Why on earth do I want to blog outside BE? There are a couple of reasons for this. First, sometimes you are on the go perhaps using only an UMPC or an e-phone but you still want to get a message out there. quickly without the hassle of the login procedure. Second the interface of the BE blog is not always so flexible and third you might even be writing on more than one blog post at the same time. And there is even a fourth reason - You might consider running several blogs! Yes such animals do exist.....Then writing for all the blogs in one place is the natural solution. LiveWriter can provide this possibility and in it you can use hyperlinks, maps, tables, images, videos and stuff too....Did I mention that it is FREE? Quite unusual for a Microsoft product. I am tywsting the software right now creating this blog post for BE and I hope it will be published when I hit the button - Wish me luck!
(Alas, something went wrong when I tried to post and I have not yet found an answer to what happened - has anyone else tried it too? It said something about a faulty HTTP Header - whatever that means....Amazingly I did reach my BE Blog from LiveWriter getting a good preview too.....but the blog post did not reach BE...it has to have something to do with some setting or another. Any ideas folks?
