A new engineering library file for PondPack containing geometry data for StormTech storage chambers has been posted to the "Enhancements and Updates" section of SELECTservices Downloads. This library is compatible with PondPack v8i, version 08.11.01.51.

To use this library, download "StormTech Storage Chamber Data for PondPack" and run it to extract StormTech.xml to the desired folder. Once you have extracted the file, you can use the data in your project by first adding the engineering library:

  1. In PondPack, choose Engineering Libraries from the Components menu.
  2. Highlight the Storage Chamber Library in the list.
  3. Click the button in the upper left of the dialog and Add Existing Library.
  4. Browse to the location of the StormTech.xml file and Open it.

Once you have added the StormTech library, you can use it to define your pond geometry:

  1. In the Pond properties, set the Pond Type to Stormage Chamber System.
  2. For the Storage Chamber, select Edit.
  3. In the Storage Chambers dialog, select the library (book) button and Choose Import from Library.
  4. Highlight the desired StormTech storage champber and click Select.
  5. Exit the Storage Chamber dialog. Back in the Pond Properties, assign the desired Storage Chamber to the pond.

Also, updated patch sets for the following product versions were posted on March 5, 2010 to the "Enhancements and Updates" category on SELECTservices Downloads (http://www.bentley.com/myselectcd):

Note that these patch sets must only be installed on a machine where you have the specific product version listed above already installed. They are not compatible with any other version. To check what version you have installed, open the product, go to Help>About, and look in the lower left corner of the dialog.

All patch sets are cumulative; that is, they contain all available updates for the specific product and version up to the time of posting. You need only install the latest patch set to become current.

You should make sure that the software product is closed prior to installing its update.

These patch sets require that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update KB973923 be present on your system. If you do not already have this update installed, it can be obtained at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973923.
