We have recently implemented Bentely BIM (Mech, Plumb, Fire & Electrical) using the USACE Workspace. We have found that we are running into MAJOR issues with speed, (opening files, running extractions, just all round lag).
Has anyone else run into these issues? We are trying to determine if it's software, computer or network based - I have a feeling it might be some of all...

One thing that came up recently had to do with reference files and the "use lights" setting turned on. In this case there was a large amount of reference files (over 100 for structural bar joists) attached and it was causing the system to crash. The fix was to turn off the "use lights" setting for the reference files. This is a reference file attachment setting, you can toggle it off when attaching a reference file or can be turned off from the reference file dialog box or reference file attachment settings.
I know this doesn't adress all of the issues you may be seeing but it is some information to pass along.
Which version of the USACE workspace did you set-up?
