Send me your email addres at jerry.walter@bentley.com and I will forward to you the example. Also note, that the Select 1 Release of Bentley Map will include GML support. I can not give an exact date on this release, but it should be sometime in the next 3-4 months.

THanks a lot Jerry.
I would be very interested in giving a look to this example but an error occurs when clicking the link, showing this:
Access Denied You do not have permissions to perform the requested action.
From the example you prepared, there is no way I know of to importy/export data of this type. The CSV/XML example Jeff references and I provided privately is the only other way to import this type of data, that I know of.

Hello,
I'm getting a bit lost; should I ask the bentley instructor to prepare a chapter of xml+xsd to be imported-exported from bentley map?
is this import-export operation possible?
Bye
Frank,
Please refer to the Import ODBC and CSV data types thread for additional details and example.

Jerry Walter - Bentley: You can load points, line, polygons in XML format as long as it follows a very specific format. You need a vrt file that describes the geometry, and then a comma delimited file that describes the geometry instances. I can post an example if you need. HTH Jerry

Hello Frank
If you mean that you're interested in Jerrys answer regarding this XML + XSD issue.
i believe he will post in the forum, if not I will ask him if I can paste it in the forum, as I understand that this is not a corporation problem solving site.
The problem is that for the moment I cant make the xml+xsd files public. I believe that in a couple of months I will.
Jus this.
Jerry,
I'm interested for the example you wrote !
Regards
Thanks a lot Jerry.
I've uploaded a .rar file conaining an XML and the XSD schema.
I've sent you a private message containing the key to pen the .rar file.
Thanks for your interest.
That's fine. I can spend a few minutes looking at them.
Hi Jerry,
Would you mind if I send you a couple of files I've to see if the bentley map could arrive to manage them?
Would be a .xsd schema file
and a .xml "all in one" file containing metadata and graphic elements.
bye.
Hello.
We're preparing an whislist for a official bentley training course, well, actually we sent this list a couple of weeks ago.
Today, I've been told to check if it is possible to load in bentley map a "drawing" in .XML format that comes with a .XSD file that is supossed to be "the key" that converts the information in the xml to graphic and metadata information.
Thi all is quite new for me so there might be incongluences in my lines.
Plese give me a hand on this to see if its is possible to load some existing .XML files and save new ones with the same data estructure.
Thanks in advance.
