Off Elevation is less than or equal to the On Elevation

pumpstation edit.zipHi

I am working on one of the Hands-on training in the "SewerGEMS/SewerCAD, Sewer System Modeling (metric)"Catagory as "Gravity and Pressure".

I did all of the instructions one by one but I am getting an error as"Off Elevation is less than or equal to the On Elevation"

Please let me know what should I do?

Thanks

Hamid

  • Hamid,

Have you checked to see if the Off elevation for your pump is less than or equal to the On elevation? That's what this user notification refers to. You should also be able to right click on the user notification that you are getting and choose the "Zoom to" option that will bring you to the pump where this issue is occurring. After that look under the section called "Operational" for elevation on and off controls.

  • Hi Mark

Hands-on training in the "SewerGEMS/SewerCAD, Sewer System Modeling (metric)"Catagory -"Gravity and Pressure" part.

    Thanks

  • Hamid,

Do you have a link to the hands-on-training, so I can have a look at it without having to search it out? Also, did my suggestions resolve your issue? I want to confirm that you were at least able to workaround the problem you were having, while I investigate the documentation that you are looking at to confirm that my assumption of the problem was accurate.

  • Hamid,

I've had a look at the issue in the documentation that you stated you were using and as I suspected the problem is that the instructions that you are looking at are based on an older version of the software that didn't have the option for on and off elevation controls directly on the pump element, therefore, it didn't go over directions for how to set those. I have been informed that that we are currently working on new help documentation, but in the meantime you can resolve the user notification by setting the property for "Ignore On/Off Elevations" to True or by adjusting the On and Off elevations accordingly.
