Not sure if this question should be addressed to you; when I try to open the Transient Analysis Detailed Report, a blank WordPad documents opens and for half an hour it seems that it is still loading the information but nothing appears. Eventually I force close the document. What would be the possible reasons and how to resolve?

  • A couple more things to add to what Scott said:

    1) Save the model and check out the .RPT file (in the same folder as the model). This is the file that stores the detailed report and is what HAMMER attempts to open when you click "transient analysis detailed report". There are some alternative text editors available that deal with large files better, for example Notepad++.

    2) It's possible you may be able to find what you need in a different report. For example we've recently added the ability to view certain extended results in graph form directly within the Transient Results Viewer. More on that here:
