(stormcad) is there a way to connect a pipe to a main pipe line without split the main pipe line?

Question

OK i have a 8km pipe line with manholes every 100 m and catch basins every 50 m , and the conduit length = 100 i connect the catch basin with the manholes but the problem is when i try to connect the catch basin to the middle of the pipe .
i dont want to add manhole or to spilt the pipe i want direct connection between the two pipes without splitting the main pipe

In the upcoming SELECTseries 5 release (slated to be released within the next month or two) you can use the new Tap and Lateral elements to connect a catchbasin to a conduit. The tap attaches to the conduit without splitting it.

The pipe will have to be split to add a catch basin to the middle of a pipe.

 I'm not quite sure I'm understanding the problem. If you already have a pipe that is connected between two nodes of any type the only ways to connect another node element in the middle of that pipe is split the pipe with another node or by using the reconnect feature. 
 For example, if you have you pipe laid out as shown below: 
 
 You would have to drop a catch basin directly on top of CO-1 in order to get it between manholes MH-1 and MH-2 which would split that pipe into two pipes. If you want to keep that pipe there and not split it because you want to keep the labeling and add a new pipe in yourself then you'd use the reconnect feature I was referring to. The reconnect feature will unsnap the pipe from one node and allow you to drag the end to reconnect it to another node. We have an example of how to use the reconnect feature that can be downloaded from this location.

 After you use this you can then draw in a new pipe to connect your catch basin to the other manhole or node element.
