Default Pipe Size-SewerGEMS

Question

Hi 
 The default pipe size in SewerGEMS is 304.8 mm, can I set it to another number? 
 or is it possible to set a material for the pipe as default to when you create a new file pipe as default have a material and a specific size e.g. 250mm

Are you using SewerGEMS V8i SELECTseries 4? (08.11.04.54) This was an issue fixed in the latest patch set for this version, which will also be part of the upcoming SELECTseries 5 release.

You can create prototypes that will change the default properties for elements in the program. The steps to do this can be found in the following link: communities.bentley.com/.../7756.changing-the-default-property-values-when-creating-model

Also, after setting up the prototypes (and other standards), you can save the model to a Seed file. When starting a new project, you would then open from that Seed file. You can read a bit more about Seed Files in the help or by searching on Communities.
