No, currently WaterGEMS is not compatible with AutoCAD 2017, but the next release of the software will be. That should be out in a few months.

The next version of WaterCAD, WaterGEMS and HAMMER (CONNECT Edition) is currently planned to be released in early Q4 2016, likely in October. You can subscribe to the Haestad Blog as mentioned in this thread, to receive an update when the new release is available and a link to an article that goes into detail on the new features and enhancements.
