Set default symbols for graph

Hello, 
 
 I have been developing a model with many graphs that compare Time Series Field Data to model results. When I first created the graphs the software consistently formatted Time Series data as points and model results as lines. The model has recently started formatting some, but not all, graphs with the opposite display. 
 
 Is there a way to set all graphs to show Time Series data as points and scenario calculations as lines? 
 
 *Note that this change occurred after upgrading software from SELECTseries 5 to the latest version of SELECTseries 6.

Hello Andrew, 
 Try this: 1. Open the model and compute. 2. Open or create a graph containing both time series field data and calculated results. 3. Open chart options, select the time series field data, click change, then select the style "Points" using the TeeChart Gallery. Set the calculation series to use the style "Line". Alternately, you can select the series section, select the format tab, click the Border button and toggle Visible. Point visibility can be toggled in the Points tab. 4. Close chart options and the graph is updated to display the time series field data with points and without lines. 5. Select "Save Chart Options As Default". 6. Close the graph. 7. Open another graph 8. Select "Apply Default Chart Options" and the graph should update the graph to show time series field data as points and calculated data as lines. 
 Note: There was a patch released for SELECTseries 6 (08.11.06.58) that addressed two defects related to graphs (#289570 & #290223). That could be the reason for inconsistent results between SELECTseries 5 and SELECTseries 6.

You can download and install the latest patch set (dated May 9th, 2016 or later) to prevent graphs from having their formatting changed in the future. However, graphs that have already been changed will have to be reverted manually by opening the graph, selecting the dropdown arrow next to the Chart Options icon, and then clicking "Restore Factory Default Chart Options".
