how does roughness adjustment changes value of hazen william roughness coefficient?

If you happen to want to select the Multiply operation in the Roughness Adjustments, the multiplier multiplies against the original roughness factor. In the case of using the Hazen-Williams equation, if you enter an adjustment multiplier of 0.7 for example, a pipe whose H-W C was entered as 130, will be 130*0.7=91 in the calculations.

I was using that option to account for minor pipe loses by reducing the C (from 140 to 120) value , first I did Global edit in flex table and ran the simulation, i got some result, Next time instead of doing global edit i set the roughness adjustment option to subtracted 20 from roughness valve, this time it was giving different result.
