Composite-Controlled elements excluded from filters

I am using composite controls for a number of elements in a model, and would like to be able to see all controls associated with these elements. I noticed that when an element (tank/pump/etc) is controlled as a composite control the Controls filters ("Condition Element"; "Action Element"; the ellipses from the Properties box) exclude the element. I then have to look through each composite control manually.

Is there any way to show all controls for a particular element, not just logical controls?

  • Hello Andrew,

We have been able to reproduce the issue you are seeing. I have opened a service request on your behalf and logged this with the developers (reference 495379). I will let you know when I have some additional information for you.

    Regards,
    Scott
  • Just to close the loop on this, a workaround was found where, in the conditions tab, you select Type pulldown menu and set this to Composite. When you choose the element from the Condition Element pulldown, the list will be filtered to show composite controls for that element.

This issue will be resolved in a future release of WaterGEMS and WaterCAD.

    Regards,
    Scott
