Compatibility between SewerGEMS, SewerCAD and CivilStorm

 I'm using Bentley SewerGEMS V8i (SELECT series 5). Thereby, three related files are created when saving a new model, *** have the following extension : .stsw, .dwh and .sqlite. I need to share a model with an engineering firm that uses Bentley CivilStorm V8i (Select series 4). I do not see any way of saving as an other format, nor exporting the model in such way. I noticed that between the series 4 and 5, there is a significant change in the database format (.mdb vs .sqlite) is this the reason why we cannot share the model?

It is not possible to save a model down to an older format. The reason for this is because of changes and updates to the product schema. Details can be found at the following link: communities.bentley.com/.../10184.can-a-model-be-saved-down-or-back-to-an-older-version . 
 
If the user you are trying to share the model file with has a Select agreement with Bentley, they can upgrade to the latest version of CivilStorm and they will have no issues opening the model. If that is not possible, there are other possible workarounds mentioned in the link above.
