Components menu

Question

I am using StormCAD SS4 and when I open the Components Menu in the tools box, it doesn't show me all submenus like Composite outlet structure, Pump definition, SWMM extension or low impact development controls.....etc. does anybody know why or how to fix it?

Correct - StormCAD does not have all of the features that SewerGEMS and CivilStorm have. You mentioned the Help file - the older SS4 version did have some errors in the Help, which resulted in mentioning some features that do not apply to StormCAD (like the ones you mentioned). 
 
Composite Outlet Structures and pump definitions are an exception - Composite Outlet Structures is technically available in StormCAD, but purposely hidden from the Components menu because it generally is not meant for peak flow/steady state simulations. StormCAD uses the Rational solver, which is peak flow, steady state only. However, Composite Outlet Structures can be accessed from the pond outlet node element (click the more button at the bottom of the Layout toolbar to add it). In the POE properties, select "Yes" for "has control structure", then click the dropdown under "composite outlet structure" and choose "edit composite outlet structure". This will open the Composite Outlet Structures Dialog. 
 
Pump definitions on the other hand are not supported in StormCAD, because the GVF-Rational solver assumes an ideal pump (see article previously linked to). 
 
Apologies for the confusion that the Help document may have caused - later versions of StormCAD have corrected most of these problems in the Help documentation. We'll check in the latest version and make sure such problems are addressed.

The three best solutions for this problem are 1) If the company you work for has a SELECT service maintenance contract with us you can upgrade to the latest version of the software, which is 10.00.00.40 for free. This wiki has directions on how to download the latest version of the software:

Are you saying that no menu items at all show up when clicking the Components menu, or just that the particular ones you mentioned in your post do not appear? 
 
SWMM extensions and Low Impact Development Controls are only used with the additional dynamic solvers available in Bentley CivilStorm and SewerGEMS. StormCAD only uses the GVF-Rational numerical solver, which is essentially a steady state, peak flow method.  With that said, I think you might be confusing StormCAD with another storm/sewer product, such as SewerGEMS.

Yes - a 32-bit application can run on a 64-bit operating system. 
 
Also, although the download page currently categorizes the Haestad products (including StormCAD and CivilStorm) as 32-bit, the install file will attempt to install both a 32-bit and a 64-bit instance of the program itself. If you have a 64-bit operating system, it will install both. If you have a 32-bit operating system, it will only install 32-bit. The 32-bit instance of the program is necessary for integration with MicroStation (and ArcMap, with SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS and HAMMER), but the 64-bit version will be available (on a 64-bit operating system) for the Standalone and AutoCAD integrated shortcuts. The main benefit of 64-bit version of the product is increased memory bandwidth (for larger models and data files) and the ability to integrate with 64-bit AutoCAD.
