Hi,
I'm having a question since I'm doing a research comparing how other programs simplify a network and how does WaterGEMS does it. Specifically, the question I have is how exactly does the skelebrator manage to allocate the node demand for the "Smart Pipe Removal" simplification option, because the diameter does not change at all. Or if anyone have or know where can I download the technical guide for WaterGEMS that would help me to.
Thanks.
Hello Kramos,
During Smart Pipe Removal in Skelebrator, demands on removed nodes will be reallocated to the nearest node. You can find more information on Skelebrator under Help > WaterGEMS Help > Contents > Reducing Model Complexity with Skelebrator.
If this does not answer your question, it would help if you could provide some additional background and an example to illustrate (screenshots and/or model with steps.)

If you would like to look at the user's guide, there should be a pdf version of it in the WaterGEMS program folder.
