I am trying to show the material properties for pipes and was able to have them display on the pipes as needed. However, "Ductile Iron" takes up a lot of space and causes some to overlap making them unreadable. I would like to replace "Ductile Iron" with "DI" so that all labels can be visible. Is there a way to change the label of the material?
You can rename the Ductile Iron to DI in the Engineering Library itself, or you can create new material in the library with the name DI copying properties of Ductile Iron to it. Then after change the material of pipes from Alternatives>Physical Alternatives>Pipe>Material>Right Click>Global Edit>Set to DI. The annotations will get updated to DI then.

I found the Engineering Library but the "New Material" button is greyed out and can't be selected. Any ideas on a workaround?
Hello,
To add a new item, right-click on MaterialLibrary.xml and select Add Item. It will be called "Material-1" or something similar, but you can right-click on this and rename it. You can then enter the data for this material.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the existing "Ductile Iron" item and rename this to DI, similar to what Sushma suggested in the earlier post.
