Just wondering if it is possible to add elevation data to pipes in waterCAD/Watergems
You can create user-defined fields for the elevation data. Here is a support solution that explains creating user-defined fields: http://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/5203.creating-formula-based-user-data-extensions.aspx

Yes that's true, WIll Trex works with the user defined elevations?
TRex is basically used for updating elevations of nodes not the links(pipes).
User Data Extensions can be used in reporting, graphing, or data analysis not in data input.

Mayowa,
It might help if you could tell us a little about why you need to see the elevations on the pipes.

hello Jesse,
The reason is that when exporting pipe network from WaterCAD/WaterGEMS to CAD files, if the elevation data could be included to the vertex of the polylines, it become easier to model the network in Civil 3D also to design the long-section. WATERCAD this will turn waterCAD/WaterGEM to fully BIM tool.
Thanks
