Bentley WaterCAD version

Hi there,

We got our water model updated to the newest version of Series4, while some of our clients have not.

I am wondering if there is chances that we could save our model to a lower version that they could view it on their computer with lower version of WaterCAD? thank you very much.

    Hello Mag,

    It is not possible to directly save a model down to an older version of program.

    Thanks Scott,
    They had their version upgraded to Series 4 as well and still came across an error said:" unexpected drawing version: 40". Would you please give us some help to resolve this issue? thank you very much.

    The relevant part of the article that Mark sent would be this:

    "...You should make sure that you have the latest patch set applied to the software. ..."

    Your client may have applied the latest patch for SS4 while you may not have it, or vice versa.

    We tried copy two main project files in another folder and tried to open it from there, we still encountered the same error message unexpected drawing 40. Are there any solutions we could try to resolve this issue? Thanks
