The calibration optimization process

Hello,

The calibration optimization process. I'm don't know exactly what I should doing  in each step, please detail it for me!

  • Darwin Calibrator is good for making adjustments to model parameters that you suspect are incorrect. However, before you can use it, you need to understand the reasons the model and the field data don't agree. Is it incorrect roughness, incorrect elevation poor quality data, wrong pump curves, misunderstanding of operating rules,... This is something that relies heavily on the judgment and experience of the modeler.
  • Once you have the information that Dr. Walski mention in his post, the following TechNote gives some general information on Darwin Calibrator: http://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/using-darwin-calibrator
