Hi,
I'm unable to "Open attribute Table" from ArcGIS using the Bentley WaterGEMS V8I (08.11.05.61 32-BIT) in ArcGIS (10.2.25) or export data after opening an existing project . It apperas that the problem is the fileld definition. However, there is more than 200 fields for the pipe layer. Is there any way to target with field causes the attribute table failed to open or export to another format ? I'm just looking for the definition of each field for the SYNC-OUT geotabase (on all fields avalible) in model-builder.
Thank you for your support
Thomas

Thanks for sharing the compatibility chart link. I revised all versions of software and installed correct patches.
To solve the problem, I deleted the file "Normal.MXT" (ArcGIS Template file) and "reset to factory defaults" field mapping of all GeoTables in WaterGEMS.
Then I was able to add the "user defined" fields in each GeoTables and export WaterGEMS data into an ESRI File Geodatabase (GDB).
Finally, in ArcGIS, using the Bentley WaterGEMS V8I ModelBuilder i can transfert the data from the MDB DB (OLEDB personal geodatabase connected to WaterGEMS ) into the ESRI File Geodatabase through the SYNC-OUT using the "Label" as a key.
Everything seems to work except for the "junctions" that is only partially exported (16185 units in WaterGEMS vs 12367 in the GIS).
I also tried the SYNC-OUT using GIS-ID as a key but it does not seem to be updated in the WaterGEMS database.
I simply trying to keep the GIS synchronized with WaterGems data and attributes.
Do you have ideas about what is causing the problem ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks for your support !
Hi Thomas,
It's hard to tell what the problem might be without more details and possibly the files (to replicate the problem). Was your WaterGEMS model populated with GIS-IDs when it was created? Are there duplicates in the "label" field being used as the key field? A list of all junctions in the model, the current state of the geodatabase, and screenshots of each of the Modelbuilder steps would help.
As a side note, there is a newer version of WaterGEMS available: 08.11.06.58. You can read more about it here:
