Sewergems - flow breakdown beween domestic and industrial

Can Sewergems identify the breakdown of different flow types in a sewer pipe such domestic and industrial flows?

  • When the flow enter the flow through manholes, its counted as total flow of all the sanitary loads type like, domestic or industrial.

However, you can differentiate the flow entering into the manhole as inflow(wet) collection maybe as industrial flow and sanitary(dry weather) flow as domestic flow.

But when in the results, the total flow is calculated which is addition of differnt types of flows.

Are you looking for a way in the results of the pipe, so that it will differentiate/mention which type of load is that?

  • Hi Sushma

Thats not what i want to know. I would like to know if sewergems can provide results identifying the differnet sanitary load types in a sewer conduit. for example if i have a mixture of industrial and residential loads in a conduit, can sewergems identify the % breakdown between the 2 load types on a results page??

  • Hello Craig,

This is not possible at this time. I have filed an enhancement for the developers to look into adding a feature like this. The reference number for the request is 341105.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
