WaterGEMS for ArcMap Global Edit Customer Meter

Question

I am trying to make a bulk (global) edit to the "Associated Element" field for a selected set of customer meters in my WaterGEMS model within ArcMap. I have used the WaterGEMS selection tool to select the group of meters from my map. Right clicked to select "edit group" and opened the Customer Meter Flex Table. The problem is, when I go to perform a global edit of the "Associated Element" field, I type in the associated element "Label ID" into the "Set" text box, and all of the associated element IDs are erased and the field is left empty. I've also tried to use the actual associated Element ID (3654 vs J-1586) with no success. 
 Anyone else run into this problem or know how to make this global edit within the Flex Table?

Hi Chris, 
 
There is a workaround. 
1) After "Edit Group", select the Associated Element for the first row in the table (click in the Associated Element cell for the first row, then click [...] to interactively select the desired element). 
2) Right-click "Global Edit". 
3) The Combobox will now list that element. Click the dropdown to choose it. 
4) Press [OK] to perform the Global Edit.
