how to fix this alert SCADA? any ideas...

Everything works fine, but it keeps coming ....

  • Hello Leonidas,

It's hard to tell exactly what the problem is without seeing the model (and SCADA data). Have you checked the SCADA Signal configuration? Are you on our latest version? (08.11.06.113).

One thing I noticed is that the "Signal (Real Time)" cells are blank in the flextable. Normally if you did not have a real time signal mapped, it would show "<None>". Try editing these fields and see if you can set them back to "<None>".

If this doesn't help, please provide your WaterGEMS/WaterCAD version number (as seen under Help > About) and send a copy of the model and SCADA data files, if possible. Zip the .WTG and .WTG.SQLITE files along with the Scada file (Excel spreadsheet?) and either attach to your reply using the Insert Media button in the Advanced Reply Editor. Or, send it privately to Bentley only, using the Secure File Upload link below. Please be sure to reply on this thread with the name of the file after it has been uploaded.

  • Hello Leonidas,

This issue is likely occurring because of the field that was selected for Field type in the SCADA element property. You chose "Pressure", but it isn't clear if this is the pressure on the suction side or the discharge side. If you change the Field property in the SCADA element for "OFICINA" to either "Pressure (To/Discharge)" or "Pressure (From/Suction)" the issue no longer occurs. This is likely the meaning of the invalid element user notification as well.

I would recommend that you change the "Field" property in the SCADA element for "OFICINA". Alternatively, you could assign the SCADA element to an adjacent junction (whichever one makes sense for what pressure is being recorded).

Here is a link with more information on using SCADAConnect Simulator in WaterGEMS: communities.bentley.com/.../24272.scadaconnect-simulator-for-watergems-v8i-selectseries-6.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions on this.

    Regards,
    Scott
