Dear Bentley
I have a problem with my model, I have 10 FCV in my model (1 fixed+9 with pattern)
the duration of simulation is 72 hours (3 days)
I want to make 7 of them active for day 1 only
another one for day 2 only & the last one for day 3 only
I make a pattern for 3 days as shown in images
and I give each FCV the pattern of its day
the issue is some FCV is active (has flow) some times more than setting flow in time that I don't want the flow to pass
through it.
another issue that I have storage ground tank that I want to store water in it only without flow out from it I make the inlet pipe has check valve that make the flow go to tank only (tank starts with percentage full 50%) I found the tank empty in some hours I checked if the tank has a demand and found that there is no demand on tank
so how and where the tank is emptying ?!!
thanks a lot and sorry for taking long
Regards,
Craig Calvin

It will certainly be very helpful to have a copy of the model for troubleshooting. One general note in the meantime - make sure you aren't using a FCV to block the only path of flow to set demands. If there are only demands downstream of a FCV (no tank or reservoir) and the sum of those demands is greater than the FCV setting, the flow will be forced through the FCV, to satisfy those assumed demands.
