problem in importing input data into network

Question

i m analysing a network of having 643 pipes and 501 nodes. How to import network from CAD file into WaterGEMS network. Also i want to give input data to pipes and nodes. Manually it is not possible. i have an excel sheet with all input data. i dont know how to import into waterGEMS. At the same time i hv valve type,size and location this data also i want to import. I tried once but there is some issues are facing...........please guide me

 To import the cad files into WaterGEMS to build the network you could use the tool called Modelbuilder. 
 The below technote gives detailed information on how to import cad files through Modelbuilder.

 What kind data are you importing through excel files? 
 Please note that if you want to build the model using excel files, you should have labels, X & Y co-ordinates of the elements. 
 However, once you have built the model using say cad file, you can update the model data using excel files through Modelbuilder.
