Water System Calibration

I am looking for some guide to Water system calibration, if I have the model and need to calibrate it; what are the steps to do that?

at field; what information should I get when I flush the hydrants? and how long I have to flush? during flushing does it matter if the distribution pump kick in or the fire pump? during the flushing and recording the flow/pressure should I interest with the header's info (at pump house) regardless which pump is on?

after field test; what are steps to deal with the scenario, please some tips and instruction in order :)

Start by reading the chapter on calibration in Advanced Water Distribution Modeling and Management.
