Hello
When a node like a junction is deleted from drawing view then pipes both side of that junction are deleted too. How can delete a node without removing pipes both side of it? [This question has been answered earlier, but I could not find it here].

All pipes must have a node at each end. When the node is deleted so is the pipe.
Why would you want to do this?
What you probably want to do is morph (change) the node into a different type of node. Just pick the node type you want from the layout tool, place it over the old node and click. You'll be asked if you want to morph. Say yes.
