"Object reference not set to an instance on an object" Error when exporting to EpaNet from Hammer

Hi,

When I try to export my Hammer network as inp file for EpaNET I get the following error message after couple of seconds

"Object reference not set to an instance on an object"

Hammer produces an incomplete inp file. The inp file seems to include only the junction information and nothing else.

I should say that the file is originally exported from infoWater to inp then imported to Hammer then skeletonized and the steady state run is successful in Hammer.

I would appreciate if you could shed some light on this issue

Regards,

ER

  • ER,

In order to help you out with this issue we'll need to see your model files. There are two options for sharing your model files on BE Communities. If you would like the files to be visible to other members, compress the files into a zip file and upload them as an attachment using the ‘Advanced Reply editor’ before posting. If your data is confidential, you can follow the instructions in the link below to send it to us via Bentley Sharefile. Files uploaded to Sharefile can only be viewed by Bentley.

    communities.bentley.com/.../bentleysecurefilesupload.aspx

If you choose the second option please let us know once you've uploaded your files by posting here.

In order to send me the files please compress your *.WTG and *.WTG.MDB-(or .WTG.SQLITE if you are using the latest version) files into a single zipped folder. Please do not include any other files unless otherwise specified because you may have trouble uploading your file if it's bloated with unnecessary output files.

    Regards,

    Mark

  • Thanks Mark for your response.

I installed the latest patch and it took care of the issue.
