Is there a straight forward way of copying and pasting elements in Hammer V8i, so that the setup parameters are retained / duplicated?
For example if I have setup a TCV with the characteristics for my system, can I simply copy and paste this to create a duplicate the TCV (with the copied/duplicate TCV already setup with the same characteristics).
Would this be possible with a group of elements and interconnecting pipes. For example if I have setup a single pump, with a downstream pipework and valve arrangement, can I select the group of elements (pumps, vales etc) and pipes and duplicate these with the same setup (to create two equivalent pumping systems which I can interconnect to create a parallel pumping system)?
My apologies if this is obvious, I'm still learning to use Hammer.

Hi Luke,
There is not currently a way to copy and paste elements like you are asking about, but there is a tool we have called prototypes. Prototypes allow you to set the defaults for any element you want. The following wiki technote will explain how to do this or you can search for prototype in the help documentation that comes with the software for additional information.
