Is the unique site activation key checked against office IP address or are they any other security measures in place?

Hi, 
 Does Bentley perform any checks (IP no, MAC address, etc) against license checkout? 
 We have concerns that ex-employees which still have the SACS software installed with the company site activation key might be able to continue to use the license without authorization. 
 Kindly advise.

Hi Ina, 
 
No, Bentley does have records of IPs and MAC address. You can request to change the company site activation key if anyone outside your organization is using license without authorization.

Adding to this as security measure, you can restrict the usage or activating products outside your organization through Client Access Restrictions.
