Would you mind providing a bit more info on the "Border Attachment" Option for defining sheet boundries.
Help documentation provides the following:
(Sheet Model only) Sets the border to be attached as a reference, which comes from the seed model.
I don't get it. I tried the following steps in order to expededite sheet boundary placement in existing models:
1. I opened my 1to1 scale title block and changed it from a design model to a sheet model. I moved the sheet boundary to align with the drawn title block.
2. I closed my title block and opened my eighth scale (1/8th'' to 1') design file (sample sheet). I changed it to a sheet model and selected my title block reference (from step 1) for my Border Attachment.
I expected the sheet boundry in my sample sheet to correctly get scaled and located to the location where the title block reference is located. While microstation did get the correct scale and paper size, it did not shift the boundary origin to the correct location (it leaves the sheet boundary way off to the upper right of my drawing and referenced in titleblock). Oddly enough, if I go back into the model properties dialog and simply press ok, then refresh the view, the title block reference goes flying off the way upper right location to the match the sheet boundary.
Am I using this feature incorrectly? If not, why doesn't the sheet boundary go to the correct location in my sample sheet?
