Delete Key-in browser entries/history

I would also like to understand what is that exactly you want to achieve as I think, agreeing with Lorys, that having a history of my last key-ins is very handy.

One way of doing this quite quickly, which is not that different from Conor's suggestion but maybe a bit quicker would be to create a second shortcut with the "-restoredefaultsquiet" command line switch and to double click on this whenever you want to delete the key-in history: bear in mind that his will reset Microstation to factory defaults (as basically does deleting the upf) and also clean your temp files.

Here is an article on how to do the above, just do it on a copy of Microstation shortcut called "Reset MicroStation" or something similar.

I am not the OP, but I have the same problem. I have a misspelled key in that I constantly click accidentally, and want to remove the erroneous entry.

This discussion is 6 1/2 years old...Those folks may not be coming back.

Have you tried Marco's suggested answer - restoring to factory defaults?
UPF (User Preference Files) aren't granular or modular. You can't drill into them and get rid of a part of the information. The only option to get rid of information stored there is to get rid of them and start fresh. UPFs are very old technology and they are a black box. If that is where the key-in history is stored, then deleting the UPF is going to be the only way to change that. There is no other way to access that information.

If you expect to delete your UPF on a regular basis, you can make a copy of a working (good) UPF and rename the extension to SPF. You can then configure MicroStation to use that SPF as a seed or template whenever it needs to create a replacement UPF.

try typing in the write spelling and enter then up arrow and enter again 10 times then maybe aa=0 enter up arrow and enter maybe 10 times, then aa=90 enter  up arrow and repeat t0 times .. try picking things that  are unique and repeat eventually  only a few entries that are unique will be there including the right spelling ... there  is only room for 25 or so last commands but they are only the  unique ones listed  worked for me but I needed 30 unique commands used over and over to push out the badly spelled invalid command  out  ... if  doesnt work sorry delete you user.upf and let msnt rebuild it ( which is much easier)  .. and be sure you dont use the wrong spelling again... doesnt take long to redo where all your custom locations for things are with a new clean upf.. ( once happy  make a copy outside msnt ..for future replacement should it screw up again...
