Sorry for never coming back to attend my problem until now. What I did to fix the problem was the following. I add this line of text below to my project configuration file.
MS_PLT_DRIVERNOREFCLIP = 1
Hope this works for anyone else with this problem.
Thank you guys for the help.
Are you in a V8 DGN, V7 DGN or DWG? Try all of these with the delivered examples workspace; this will determine if it is in your upf, pcf, or site config.
I'm sorry, I meant to include clip mask. Was the clip mask a solid or hole and is it a shape not a region or etc.? If the boundary is a shape and the mask is from a fence does the same happen? Under any of these scenarios, does it make a difference if the shapes (for boundary and masks) are merely rectangles?
Just in case it has nothing to do with the clips, Verify that you are using the same Windows printer driver, MicroStation Printer Driver, and the same pen table as the machine which works. If you are, then try printing using the Bentley delivered pdf.plt with/without rasterized set and with/without your pen table. If one of these appears to print the clipped & masked reference; this may lead to an issue with the Windows print driver on your machine. If the pdf.pdt fails under all scenarios; either file a SR or post your file & a debug.
It does the same thing for both kind of elements hole and solid. And no if i do a clip boundary from a fence it doesnt happen.
I'm not sure if this matters, are you creating the element as a hole or solid? Have you tested if you create the clip boundary from a fence does it have the same behavior?
The clip boundary elements is a regualr element created the same on two different computers but when i created it and clipmask the ref file i cliped won't print. If the other computer creates it it works fine i can clip mask and everthing and it will print fine.
The clip mask is created with a regualr fence block or shape.
The pentables are the same they are set for the project we are working on and not for each indivdual user.
What kind of element is the clip boundary using and how was it created? What kind of element is the clip masks using and how was it created?
Check your pentables. Maybe you're not using the same one as the other person. Just a thought.
Here is my problem maybe somebody out there can help me out with this. I usually use an element to do my clip boundary so I can come back and modify it when ever I want. The problem with this is that when I do that and then clip mask something on a reference it stops showing up on my print outs but I can still see them on my screen. (When I uses a fence for my clip boundary this doesn't happen.) The wired thing on this is that if somebody else the clip boundary and I do the clip mask it prints fine its only when I do the clip boundary. (They can also print out the document when I did everything on it and they do get the ref to show up and like I said I don't.) So if anybody has any comments or has had this problem and got it fix I appreciate your help.
