Hi RJB,
because your text is the question, not blog (which usually is in informative or consideration style), please post your quesion to MicroStation V8i forum. Blog is not intended for discussing problems.
And I am not quite sure why do you post this question again as I answered your own question "tool bar help" already and the information how to create own toolbox is mentioned in my answer.
With regards,
Jan
Jan, did not get the answer, but today I made the new discovery that the words New tool bar, New spacer were grayed out so it is not really the same first question. Was trying to find any information on Making V8i tool bar. I did it all the time in 2004 V8. Customize new. I did not know what blog was for. I thought it was where people wrote about things. and I need some information. I would be happy just modifying some Microstation Tool bar Icons, I moified them in v8, Move is a green color, Move is blue in both moving fence items or moving selected items. I added som color to assistme in seeing them. I also added some selections in the order you do the work. below copy was the Midpoing, center, Intersection command and then the Move command. Normally when I need to move or copy I need to specify where on the item. I also had VBA commands on tool bars, Save, Save Settings, Fit Window then close. another one also would turn off datafields and On Lineweights. I have lost all this with the V8i for now, until I can figure out how to make tool bars and put keyin commands as some of the selections for the Icons. I really need a good sharp person that knows both. I havd 4 Icons to change the design file on he fly. I could load Cell Library's, I could load .CSF files, Two years of my life getting proficent at 2004 V8 and now I cannot even do a drawing modification. Using Windows 7 has added to the problem. I do not know anything about it either. Where us the correct place to ask my questions. Mr Jan.
"Where us the correct place to ask my questions." There have been numerous previous references to FORUM provided (in fact, Jan states that in the first sentence in his comment). I sent you a Private Message that identifies communities.bentley.com/.../okay-now-what.aspx as a very good resource for identifying what forums, blogs, and wikis are intended for. If you have not read that previously, it is highly recommended to do so.
