The tool entries under "Application Tools"\"Bentley PowerMap V8i" are loaded dynamically from all the deliverd applications' resource files including any r01/m01 files that may exist in the current user interface directory.
To create a new Standard Tool box in a dgnlib try the following.
Using PowerMap you can create a dgnlib file in the same directory as you r01 file. Open that file up in PowerMap and then open up the Customize dialog. Next select the delivered Standard toolbox and do a right click and select "Copy", then select your dgnlib name under "User Tools" and do right click and select "Paste Tool Reference". This will copy a reference to the V8i Standard tools. Then you can find your print entry from your r01 file and "Copy" and "Paste" that single entry into your dgnlib version of Standard Toolbox. Finally you can use drag and drop or use the /\ button to move your print tool to the proper location.
For more information, look for the topic "Importing Custom Tools, Toolboxes, and Menus" in you delivered help file.
Sorry not really what you are after but you should look into setting up the print organizer for your opertaion, it works really well.
I am trying to figure out where I can change the standard tooloxes in V8i in V8 we have had a button besides the Printer icon. This is stored in a .r01-file and actually reads into and works in V8i However I would like to put all these setings into a dgnlib - is this possible?
Where does Microstation get the standard settings from - not from the ustation.dgnlib I can tell - please see image below:
Below an image of Workspace-->Customize. What I need to know is where does the values in Bently PowerMap V8i come from. When introducing the old .r01-file the "LYN"-plot button shows and works in V8i but I wuld like to introduce the button through a dgnlib or similar, that I can alter in the V8i-environment....
Thanks in advance
