In addition to adding the new render outputs you can now optionally overlay visible edges to the output to add an illustrated effect.
This is going to make a lot of folks happy.
We are going to try and have the Epix file fixed for the final version of the update. We are also working on allowing you to save numerous output channels and to have visible edges overlay, this will be in the update. Example below..
We do intend to utilize the informatix plug-in to Luxology's modo 401 in the near future. If you absolutely need this now then you could consider buying a copy of modo,( they have a trial version) and the Piranesi plug-in from informatix is free. I really do not know much about Piranesi and have never used it. I think it would be good to have some feedback on this plug-in, so if you do give it a spin please let us know what you think.
Thanks
I think this capability will be very helpful with our rendering workflow.
We do Rendering Touch ups with Piranesi and having all the locks working will be very nice, with the export from Luxology to EPIX.

I noticed that Piranesi's Plane and Orientation locks do not work with Epix files rendered from Luxology 16A.
Will Luxology fully support the Epix format?
